Oh this is so pretty Moni! Just a little wax on the fringe to shape it into a point on the side like Suz and Shannon do is all you need. I loved reading your thoughts on being able to wear uber-femme clothes more easily with cropped hair and the converse. Mine is getting a little longer and I'm wearing it in curls which was making me feel a bit out of sorts, fashion-wise. Thank you for this; I learned a lot from your thread!
First of all I love it on you. And, secondly, I totally relate to what you said about wearing more traditionally feminine clothes with short hair. Ever since I had my hair cut I have been drawn to girly things I have not looked at in years.
The new cut suits you well Mani! I love it on you, it really shows off your pretty face. I'm with you on the "ladylike limit", and also find that I feel more comfortable in girlier things with shorter hair. I think Angie's onto something with doing a little finger curling in a few places to change up the look, especially if you're going for low effort. A little wave would give you a great mixed look.
Such a cute new hairstyle! Flattering for your face, and ideal for your life what could be better!
I love the 'ladylike limit' too! When my pixie was even shorter, I felt mannish and seemed to (sub)consciously soften up the Urban Prince type outfits - to more Urban Prince-essish. Now I've added just a bit more hair back, I'm comfortable in those Princely outfits!
You are gorgeous! My BIL wanted to know why all women chopped their hair off after having kids. I asked him whether he'd grow his out. That shut him right up.
Una, you made me giggle, which made the baby giggle too! My hubby's been moaning that he needs a haircut soon, because baby's taken to steering him by the locks already!
