New Gucci logo for collection

A few comments:
1. What in the actual.....
2. Someone probably got paid more than my annual for this-I'm in the wrong business :/
3. Imagine it on a lovely leather bag...

Honestly I am really tired of the stupid stuff that brand does to stay in the news/social media news cycle. Its a total turn off for me. Too bad cuz i really liked their footwear styles. Guess I am a crabby old lady, hahahahah

Their hashtag is #RaveLikeYouAreFive for this. Y’all should watch the video. Someone has finally watched Mad Men and gotten inspired (the naming of the slide ‘carousel’ episode). Mark my words: it’s gonna be popular this campaign.

It is different and sort of old fashioned in a world where the hand written letter or invitation is quickly disappearing. It suits Gucci's retro and luxury persona.

The luxury of beeing a colossus in your field:- you can do anything you want and....beeing percieved as fashion forward-and kind'a like it- in fact is a good performance for a 5 years old!:-)

i really didn't know anything about the current designer for the Gucci line, but i read this this morning, and thought it was really interesting so i thought i'd share.

My first thought was that it was embroidered, not written. I like it, but I don’t see that those who ‘need’ a logo on their loafers, belt or handbag will go for it, so perhaps it will not be used on all their products.
