Just what I am seeing ---

Bike shorts with blazers-UGGG

More high waisted, more wider leg, more straight leg

skinnies still around

crops still around

Cold shoulder looking like out

Not sure about big wide sleeves, but still may be sleeve detail of some sorts

Looking like not seeing the big embroidery like big florals on jeans, etc. I have a top and jacket with these, and will still wear as I do not pay a lot of attention to these trends anyhow-

more high waist-fine with me..

As for color trends I just buy and wear what suits me..color trends in home décor does bother me though as it gets harder to find things I want for my home.

Ok, I really need to see these bike shorts... no sign yet for me In The Real, or even in pics. I just can’t imagine and don’t really want to look...

Im seeing more puffy sleeves that are fitted at the wrist-lantern sleeves, but still tons of bell sleeves too.

re: bike shorts with a blazer...and can i add that i remember back in the mid 90s when when bike shorts as a fashion item was a thing...i worked for a middle of the road women's apparel retailer and we couldn't keep them in stock

It seems unbelievable that we might actually choose to wear cycling shorts for anything other than cycling.

Never say never, but I can’t see this trend working for me!

Biking shorts are the logical next step--yoga pants, fitted capris, cut a little shorter and they're bike shorts. How long until the lycra shorts cheerleaders wear are fashion? What I don't "get" is how bike shorts + blazer are a thing (Rachy, google that phrase and there are not only tons of pix but "how to wear" articles). I guess the incongruity is the thing; people like wearing opposites.

I think they are making bike shorts fashionable because many , like me, have them and no longer wear them. Since hybrid bikes and what we call old lady bikes became popular they have more comfortable seats. When I ride my bike 15 miles I wore mine. Most of us riding then wore pants or shorts like bermuda over them. Are these ones now not padded? Who in the world would want to wear true bike shorts with the padding for anything other than on a bike.me

at, in the early 90s, my husband wore his bike shorts CONSTANTLY. For 130 km days, yes, but also lounging about the house when he didn't get on the bike at all. Yes, they had chamois. No, I didn't want to know any more.

Im all for the padding, for the stationary bike :p Those seats are like sitting on a pointy rock!
Bike shorts + blazer for me may happen if i go to the gym after work, and its a little chilly, and i dont have a gear type jacket with me...

Yeah, I know it’s coming out of the early 90s as my girls wore them when they were young preteens, but mostly the cotton knit with a little room in them variety. However, my current reaction is, it’s not just leggings for pants, but girdles (underwear) for pants? This is one area where I do feel there is a line of age-appropriate-ness, or body types who would do well to skip them.

All I see in my mind's eye are the Kardashians. Hailey Baldwin, the Hadid sisters etc when I read about the bike short trend. If I lived that lifestyle and was 25, I'd probably be wearing them too. But for the rest of us? Eh, just visual fashion garbage/recycling. As to embroidered jeans - I agree that that one peaked and died and am still annoyed that I succumbed to that trend last spring and never wore them. Cold shoulders have had their day, which is fine. As to colour trends - it's all a cycle that has become like the rest of fashion : anything goes. I too worry about the home decor side - for my own home , not for what I sell - because the new earth tones and 70's influence is really not my thing .

I bought bike shorts just before my trip down under. I haven’t worn them yet.
I wanted to get the Good American ones but they weren’t in stock in Seattle.

I won't wear bike shorts per se, but always have a pair of long tailored shorts for summer - my bike shorts. Looking forward to more full length jeans options. Definitely is the era of high waists, judging by my animosity toward low waists right now .

I am seeing lots of high waists, wide-legged jeans, straight-legged jeans and black jeans. There are still lots of skinnies around. Makeup is really low key (almost nonexistent). Long bobs with some long layers are very popular.
We don't buy home decor or furnishing anymore so I don't have a clue what is happening in that world. Our house is earth tones (now does that surprise anyone?) and I have no intentions of changing it. I may be in style but I may not but my house will always be decorated in earth tones.

I love lantern sleeves and I also like bike shorts, but maybe not so much with a blazer. It seems like an odd combination, almost like someone is half dressed walking out of the gym after work.

Remember when we could not understand leggings with blazers? Bike shorts are comfortable so I believe this will be around for awhile. Not on my bod, though.
