New floral top! K/R? - YouLookFab Forum

So, I keep searching (previous thread: http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....ral-top-kr) for THE top for our midsummer celebration.

I early on decided that I wanted a floral top with my light blue skirt. Found NOTHING in stores and barely anything online. Finally found one that I ordered and liked (#3), and it was ok with the skirt, but as many of you pointed out, it wasn't great (much better with denim skinnies). Some suggested that a top with a cooler white would probably work better. And I managed to find one online that looked like it could be a better match! #1-2

I think it works better, but I'd love to hear your honest opinions! The party is next Friday so I still have a chance to keep looking!

(Sorry, still wrinkly skirt, will definitely iron it before the party!)

(Now, being Sweden it'll probably be grey and cold on that day, but the top definitely works with my black skinnies, so that'll be my backup plan!)

I'm not really a fan of floral patterns but if I had to choose i'll go for the small tea rose pattern, they seem more feminine.

This is very outside of my own style preferences so I am challenged:). I think the top is very pretty and the silhouette it creates tucked I to the skirt is so gorgeous and feminine. How do you feel in it. You look happy and it does look nice on you.

Ok. This new top, I'll admit, is more flattering. It's the V neckline, slight tho it is. It's also brighter and livelier, stronger colours... But I'm having a hard time letting go of the first top because those are so the pretty roses of Midsommer...

Thank you Deborah and rachylou! I do like it and feel happy in it, I like the bright colours with the blue skirt! But Iike the other top too (and I did keep it), and that one, I think, gives a more romantic vibe, which could be fun for the occasion! At the moment I'm leaning more towards the new top though!

I like the new top (#1/#2) much better. The white instead of off-white in the shirt makes all the difference.

Thank you so much everyone! So now I've decided, it'll be the new top for midsummer! Yay! So happy to have that sorted! And Glory, I have already decided to keep the other top too (have even worn it), and I'm definitely happy with both!

Anne likes red, haha, what a great pic! Typical traditional Swedish outfit that basically no-one wears... But I had a hat similar to the kids ones when I was a baby! Don't think it'll fit now though...
