Chessie Giraffe. 8 weeks old. Mother a Queensland Heeler. Father a Chesapeake Bay Retriever (we think, he was the only unfixed male in the neighborhood.). Hence her name “Chessie.” Her lower belly is spotted like a giraffe. A sweetheart, mostly housebroken and spent a whole night in her crate without whining. Independent minded, “come” will be a bigger challenge than the crate.

After multiple Labs and Goldens with hip and knee problems, cancer, we decided to try a mixed breed. Someone bought a litter mate to our restaurant and a few days later we had 4 puppies to choose from (there were 11 total).

Sorry I’m not responding a lot on the forum. Working harder than ever due to labor shortages. Mom recovered well form heart valve surgery but SO struggling with chemo.
