I finally broke down and admitted to myself that I need vision correction for both close up AND far away. I went online to zenni and ordered some readers and some glasses to use for driving. I generally don't need both at the same time, so I didn't go for bifocals.
I went with some purple ones for distance vision (driving) and blue ones for reading. I really like them both, as they seem to play well with my white hair.
Eventually, I'll have to break down and do bifocalsome because archery practice is one of the rare occasions when both would come in handy; however, both types of glasses are very minor corrections so I'm vainly holding outhe as long as I can. Maybe I need to unpack the emotional baggage around that one lol
