Beautiful dress, Ginger! You look gorgeous! The colours complement you very well. The braided headband is very clever.

I like shopping at Dillard's. We don't have any in Canada so when we are in the U.S. and if there is a Dillard's nearby, I like to go in and look around.

It’s so exciting when a garment that draws your eye turns out to fit well and be beautifully made. I wonder if the garment assemblers secretly get pleasure out of working with beautiful materials and doing their best work?

I also remember the tradition of the ‘new’ Easter outfit for church, and later the ‘spring makeover’ - a time for a little extra TLC to mark the changing season.

What a fabulous dress!! You look utterl beautiful <3 adore the green with it. And agree to try a good red. I am very fond of red paired with blush.

I have found the best quality, most memorable, long-life items at Dillard’s. Last year I purchased a wonderful pair of sandals, SOFFT brand gladiators in pewter metallic. 12 years ago, it was the most beautiful peach and chocolate leopard print scarf. In silk. On sale. It was showing it’s age but still going strong. (Currently packed away due to the house situation.) I don’t shop there all the time but when I do magic happens.

Dresses. I bought a flirty striped number last Nov. And then these two t-shirt dresses to wear with moto jackets or kimonos.

Nadya, that is a beautiful dress, and I love it with the yellow shirt/jacket!

Karie, I missing Charming Charlie too. They've reopened a few stores; the closest to me is only 30 minutes away, but in a direction I don't usually go.

Zaeobi, the dress length on me is pretty much the same as the model. I'm just taking a phone picture close to the mirror. I'm 5'9", definitely not short. It's hard to find maxi dresses that are truly maxi on me!

That's great, BlueJay! I appreciate the Dillard's love.

I've wondered that too, Carla. I know I actively enjoy sewing on pretty fabrics more than plain ones. I never really have done a "spring makeover," but that sounds like a good tradition.

Thank you, Ket! And you've certainly found some terrific things at Dillard's as well.

Ah, I see. I'd call that tea length then. Looks good on you
