I am a fan of the shorter frock, but if both come in that length, then you should nab both. They fit you like a dream.

If you're not comfortable with #2, then it's worthwhile to return it. However, I believe both dresses look smashing on you!

As for proportions - I think if you shorten your hemlines by a couple inches, both dresses would work with the long boots. I am not generally a fan of shorter boots with knee-length or mid-dresses because they shorten the form. But that's just my aesthetic preference.

Katiekat I really love the second dress as it has a cute cherry print so am gutted to have to return it but I've followed my heart on this sort of thing before and been left with orphans so am returning it with regret x
