New Dress -keep or return

Found this little dress in monsoon website and decided that I quite likes it. Then while I was out today I noticed Monsoon had a sale on and it was 50% off.
Although I hadn't planned to buy a new dress for the next wedding we have to go to I figured as it was a bargain I might as well have it.
Is the style nice though? Still got the same problem of being between sizes in monsoon, the arms holes are slightly tight but not uncomfortable. I was thinking to wear it with the same nude shoes that I got for the turquoise dress and maybe add some gold accessories.

I went to another branch today to try the bigger size on. The arm holes were not any bigger but the rest looked huge so decided against it. Turns out that the dress is not suppose to be in the sale and is still full price in the branch I was in today! result!
Can tailors make arms holes bigger?

oh and the final outfit that I wore to the last wedding. Turquoise dress creation.

what were you planning to wear before you found this dress?
Honestly, while it is very pretty on you... I like the turquoise alot more and if this one has arm hole issues, I'm not sure it's worth the cost of getting that fixed.

Queenie - I was just going to wear the same outfit as the last wedding, as it is different people, so don't suppose it really matters.
Do you think that the dress is nice enough to keep for another event? I wouldn't get it tailored if it was full price, but as it is half price I thought it might be worth it.

well, you looked killer in that turquoise dress outfit, so I vote to treat this new group of people to the same outfit

The purple dress has a bit more casual vibe to it (probably the unfitted silhouette). If you love it I say keep. It does look nice on you.

Queenie I never love anything!!! Thanks for the advice though. If its going to be the turquoise dress I need to diet 2 weeks in advance. It is pretty tight round the belly!! Thanks again

Wowsers! I don't think that you could look bad in anything!

I haven't seen the turqouise dress, but I do like this one and think that you can pull off the unstructured shape because of your height and slenderness.
I like the shoes and accessories that you have chosen!

st4rrgrrl - yeah that is the turquoise dress. I have added a link at the bottom of my first post on this thread of the actual outfit on the day. I know that the lavender dress is a completely different look as it is so unstructured.I am just not sure if that is a good thing!

I like the purple ok but I do think the arm holes look a little high. Maybe I'm just noticing it because you mentioned it? I love the volume of the dress and think you should try to find something like that for casual wear. I prefer the turquoise dress for your wedding activities.

It's a lovely dress on you. Don't quote me but I'm sure someone here said it was expensive to alter arm holes. From a personal point of view I can't stand tight arm holes I find myself keep pulling at them and getting hot and bothered x

Both the purple and turquoise dresses are lovely on you. Both styles suit you well. But if the purple is not comfortable around the arms, I say hunt for something better in a similar style instead.
