I've been trying to find nude (or close to nude) shoes with closed toe and a slight heel since past July. These Cole Haan Air Tali Lace wedges have been on my radar for a while but they are very expensive and I was hoping to find a slightly higher heel (around 2"). The color that I like kept disappearing so when I finally spotted them on Zappos in my size and color on a slight sale (one pair left) I decided to bite the bullet.

I also think I spotted these shoes in a different color on Angie's NAS picks list so that was an added endorsement.

I think these are a great workhorse for workwear - very comfortable. If I find something with a higher heel, I might still get them but for everyday wear this height may be the best for me. It is a slight duplication - I have LandsEnd ballet flats in a similar style that I got for $15 and wore all of last summer. At this point I think my CPW on those is down to nickels and dimes so I can probably replace/upgrade them.
