I was afraid to even mention these until they came... they are the Current/Elliott ankle skinnies. They are a good material for me (more stretchy denim, not as stiff as the twill) and I think the fit is a lot better, although still not perfect around my calves. At least they don't have that crotch-tasticness going on... I have the hems folded under as they are at least 3 inches of bunching.
