My ebay purchases continue, and this is another of my recent finds. I've wanted a chanel-style jacket forever, and when I saw this it looked like the one.
I'm wearing it with all black here because I wanted to showcase the jacket, with an old pendant of my mum's that she gave me recently. I'm pIanning to wear it as a work piece, but also casually with jeans. I have to say taking photos is a great discipline, because it's pointed up a couple more wardrobe holes to me. What would people suggest as casual footwear with this - I was thinking something like a wedge heel?
Anyway I'm pretty happy with the jacket. I've never had one so cropped, but I quite like the way it shows off my waist. It doesn't close at the front, but I'm ok with that as it doesn't have any fastenings in any case. So do I have the YLF stamp of approval? Please fire away!
ETA: the trousers look a little short in the second photo, but I can promise they are definitely PPL!
