Today I went out in search of a sleek pair of riding boots to wear with skirts. I ended up with a heeled boot but it fit me really well and is comfortable. The riding boots were too large around the calf.

I love that it's sleek and has no embellishment. Beyond this pair I have a pair of black engineering/motorcycle boots, a pair of dark brown suede boots and a pair of flat camel booties. So I thought a little heel might give me some variety. This is the Born Maricela. My cat thinks they're fab, but what do you think?

I'm also curious if this thin merino turtleneck is too tight to wear without a top layer or scarf. It's a bit sheer so I always wear a tank top. I'm not exactly large chested but I wonder if you still think it's too tight. I know it's hard to judge a black turtleneck from a photo, you'll notice on my arm you can actually see my skintone through it. Great expression on my face and pardon my hair!
