I just got the black suede DV by Dolce Vita Jamison ankle boots that I ordered from Zulily. They were a great deal at $59, and I think I love them already. They feel completely comfortable even without an insert (not a trivial thing for my problem feet), and I love the way they look. I wear a 9 in closed shoes, and I got these in a 10 to accommodate an insert and/or thick winter socks. The extra room is nice, but I probably would have been fine with a 9.5.
I forgot to take a pic of myself modeling the boots before I doused them with waterproofing spray. They're still drying so I'll take an outfit picture another time. It's so mild here in Seattle I might get to wear them immediately. If not, I'll look forward to wearing them in the autumn!
When I opened the box, the first thing I saw was a pack of snack-size boxes of cereal! Fab boots and a snack too -- makes me forgive Zulily's slightly slow shipping (2 weeks, which really isn't too bad for a flash-sale site). Now I see that Nordstrom has them in teal and orange for $58.95 and I am sorely tempted to copy Alaskagirl and get another pair in a fun color.
