I ordered black because the dress pants I own are black, gray and navy. I already own a pair of really nice brown Dansko boots that work very well with the navy pants.

Excellent choices. Both look comfy too, especially the first pair. Black are the best most versatile boot colors for ankle boots. I find I wear my cognac tall boots a lot, but the cognac ankle boots seem to seldom get worn.

Thanks. I have never tried the Earth brand before, so I'm hoping they'll fit and have enough arch support to make my feet happy. If not, they'll have to be returned. I'm fairly certain that the Sofft ankle boots will be great. I have some tall Sofft boots that are really nice.

Both look great, and comfy, too! I especially like the Sofft ones--the Chelsea style appeals to me so much. I don't how it is that they are not well-represented in my closet!

I like both of the boots you ordered. I've ordered a pair of Aetrex boots which should arrive soon, and if they don't work out I'll try the Earth brand which looks similar.

They look like they will be very comfy. I just bought these but haven't worn them yet, I am still trying to justify the purchase as I bought a pair from Zara a few weeks ago which I love by the way, suede with a block heel. I need another pair of boots like a hole in the head. They are a little RATE for me but they seem extremely comfortable........
Coats and boots are my sweet spot !

I have a lot of boots, too, but I felt the need for a sleeker style for work - newly enforced business casual dress code - without having to wear pumps. My arthritic feet with bunions just can't handle it.

Great choices bettycrocker. I also love the Fryes the Gail bought. I have painful feet most of the time and find Fryes very comfy. Spendy at first but worth it.

Also the Aquatalia sweeties are super comfy but more expensive. I found mine at more than half off so you could watch for sales too

Those are nice, and I'll keep them in mind the next time I need boots. Do those come in a wide width? I need a D width due to bunions, but my heel needs a B width, which makes shoe shopping that much more difficult.

Both pairs of boots got here today. ☺ The Sofft boots are made of softer leather and are more comfortable. Even though Zappos advertises that they have a round toe, they actually have an almond shapped toe.

The Earth pair are made of stiffer leather, but they also are comfortable - just not as much.

I ordered my usual size, and both pairs fit as expected. They will be very useful for work.

Thanks! I just hate to go to work and spend 8 hours in a pair of uncomfortable shoes. I feel confident that these will be comfortable, thanks to the padded insoles and low heels.
