I heard a great piece on NPR this morning about this book, which is a compilation of "interviews" conducted with women via survey, about their relationships with clothing and fashion. A few famous women are included but my understanding is that it is mostly (extraordinary) ordinary women (like us). What I found most intriguing are the kinds of questions the authors asked: How does your cultural background influence how you dress? How does money figure into your clothing decisions? What is your family background when it comes to dressing? How would you describe your mind? Your body? Your emotions? Really interesting stuff.
I'm definitely purchasing.
