Laura, yes, what I find great about them is that things are both unique and wearable. I feel like that's what J.Crew used to be a decade ago. I was comparing this catalog to the recent J.Crew that hit my mailbox (I kind of feel bad for them right now with the revolving door) and thinking if I were at JCrew I'd be headhunting at Boden... shhhh, no, we don't want to ruin Boden!
Angie, that floral blazer also makes me swoon. I have it in my longer list of objects of desire... Would love to see all of those pieces on you and how you style them. And yes, Boden does have the best colors! Eye-popping without being fluo (again, my problem with J.Crew...)
Smittie, those boots look so mod and chic, no? And the sweater, pants, and skirt are at the top of my list. The pants are actually a light-blue and white herringbone tweed! I love the light color for a cold-weather pant. (I also like chambray and have a similar pair made of chambray-like tencel, so it must be in my subconscious).
kkards, yes, that sweater is haunting me!
Tanya, crush is the best word to define my feelings. The Victoria military-style blazer is so amazing. I also eyed the Nell blazer and the other one (they have two different fits, can't remember the name). Was wondering which fit would be most versatile. Please do share if/when you order!
I decided to tear up pages from the catalog to make sure I didn't miss anything I liked, and realized I tore out half the pages!!! I don't think I've ever liked a catalog so much.
