I have been looking for the perfect plain black handbag for probably more than a year now. I love my Coach tote with the gold studs, but it's a lot going on and I wanted a perfectly plain black bag without all the bling.
Today I was returning some things to DSW and I saw this small satchel on the clearance table It's a great size for petite me while still having room for all my stuff, it has the satchel shape that I love, it's lovely leather, not too much metal, and the braided leather handles give it enough interest to keep it from being too boring. Plus I love to leave my satchels unzipped and this one has a snap-closing top that will let me do that while still protecting the contents from spilling out!
And the kicker? It's a Cole Haan, marked down from $378 to $149.99! SCORE!!
