New biker type booties, what do you think? Should I K/R

#1 Should I keep these or no...these are Lucky Brand Hanae biker booties in a manageable heel height that are comfortable....I've brought home so many boots and then returned for various reasons (too high a heel, too rugged looking, opening at ankle too wide, etc. etc. etc.) I had my heart set on a pair of Frye's but am afraid we are not made for each other. As soon as I tried several pairs on, my feet ached in a way I have never experienced before:( I have terrible fussy feet, a bunion and associated problems, that make it tough.

My current boot wardrobe consists of:

2) I have these Sam Edelman Petty boots in both black and putty
3) and these, Franco Sarto tall boots in both cognac and black

I'm just not sure if this is style is too"Young" looking for me..I'm 55...what do you think?

Appreciate any and all opinions and feedback!

I am 56 and I would wear these. So, in my opinion, not too young at all.

I have a pair of similar boots from Angie's store (linked below) and they are my favorite boots, go with everything, and the low heel means that I can wear them all day.

Hey, Carole. Sorry it's hard for you to find the right shoe. We can all relate. That one looks really good, and it's great that they're comfortable. What are your reservations, then? Price? (ETA: sorry, I see you're mentioning feeling they're too "young", which I don't agree.) Incidentally, just today I fell hard for these Trouve Watson booties from Nordstroms:

(They are styled much more appealingly in their November '12 catalog, which you can find online.) Anyways, I cannot justify another black bootie purchase at the moment, but I'm enjoying looking at them online. So I hope someone springs for them.

I don't think the style is age specific Carole - I'd love to see them on though.

Mochi, love the ones you link to and can see why you are stocking them....my reservations were mostly about age appropriateness, I suppose, and wanting something well made and classic. That's why Frye's were top 'o list for me, but sadly I think they will not work on my foot, boo!

Yeah, I just went back and added that to my post. I read thru too quickly. Too bad about the Fryes because they're such a well-made product, but if they don't do it for your feet, you have to walk away. I'm sure your perfect bootie is out there!

Mochi, thanks for the edit...I was wondering if all the Frye boots will make my feet hurt, just aren't too many styles left to try on around here and I hate to order shoes/boots online.

Absolutely, KEEP THEM!! They are the "new classics". There's nothing cooler, or sexier than a girl in biker boots. I still have my "original" Durangos, a more authentic "frye" from the 70's! They've only been resoled once, and I just bought a pair of the boots that look just like yours. Just the fact that I had my Durango's in the 70's should tell you that we're about the same age! You go!
