What I Bought-House of Hackney Grungey style Tops plus Biker Boots - Opinions Needed

I've felt 'all over the place' stylewise recently. Not a hugely dramatic problem in itself but I found myself on the Asos website recently and bought the following items (as I wanted to get a cooler vibe in an 'All Saints'/London streetstyle kind of style):

Plus I need some very valuable 2nd opinions from the forum.

1st item is a ' House of Hackney' for Asos Silk velvet silk check swing shirt. This was the most 'out there' item in the order. I'm surprised to find that I like it and it's growing on me alot. The material feels beautiful and the colours are washed out and grungey but it still seems luxurious to me. I want to try it out with ripped black skinnies/plain grey or dark red ones too. The biker boots also look great with it (imho)

2nd item is Asos Aruba black leather biker boots - I'm in love with these. Take a look at the awesome detailing. Plus they're comfy and fit my narrow feet like a glove.

3rd item is 'House of Hackney' for Asos Silk shirt in London Rose print. I don't think it's oversize fit is doing me any favours. The print and material are lovely but I'm not sure about this on me.

Anyway, sorry for rambling but would appreciate any feedback/advice you can offer me. Thanks in advance.

I prefer the plaid top to the oversized one. And the boots are awesome, plus the good fit means you will wear them. Only thing is, I wouldn't pair the plaid top with these boots as the kind of compete for attention. Pick one star of the show and all that.

On another note, I totally get feeling like your style is all over the place. Usually when I feel this way, it means my style is in flux, which is kind of exciting. It means you are morphing into a new style chapter.

You had me at silk velvet! Love the plaid swing top & agree that the floral shirt looks a bit off. Congrats on finding comfy well fitting shoes you love: that's like the holy grail of shopping. hehe

I really like the plaid top...looks like an excellent fit, and its cut is so unexpected. The boots are very distinctive also! I'm glad you found something that fits your feet well. :^)

Regarding the oversized top, to be honest I'm having a hard time telling how it looks on you because of the angle at which you're standing. But it looks like the sleeves may be too long? Anyway, if you don't like it, what we think is pointless. Back it goes!

I quite like the London Rose. It didn't grab me from the website like the plaid, but it does seeing you wear it.

The first two items seem like pieces you could very easily integrate with other pieces in your wardrobe, big thumbs up from me on those two. For the third, I'm with Rachy: I quite like it actually. The oversized-ness looks very intentional. Would you wear it with the sleeves down like this? I could see it looking much more slouchy cool with the sleeves pushed up.

I like all three, and the only part about the fit of the rose shirt that throws me is the length of the arms, but if they stayed pushed up, it wouldn't bother me, the colors and print look good on you.

The plaid top is dreamy, I love it over the maroon tee. Your boots are utterly fab-u-licious, can't say enough about them. A girl could build a new style persona around those boots alone, they are that great. Floral top ... hmmm. Not sure but I certainly don't hate it.
