I like the funky one, the poncho. You aren't the poor little matchgirl who needs a thing to wear, because you don't have a single coat. You’ve got at least two other pragmatic fall coats, so one can cover when the other is at the cleaners or whatnot. If it’s a rainy fall day or a super cold one, wear one of them. If it’s a cool fall day with clear blue skies, the kind that draws you out looking for adventure, pop on the poncho. Looks to me like it’d be fine for a little drizzle, as long as that didn’t turn into serious showers.
The closest I have to a poncho is my “circle vest”. I call it that because when I lie it flat on the floor, it is a circle. I like having the hemline play with hems of skirts and dresses underneath, posted a wiw in it recently.
