New AT sheath dress-what cha think?

Is this a 10 or should I return? I thought I could get some more use of my citron peep toes with this dress. I have it styled with a drapey cardi and without.

Oh and I almost forgot, what about this dress, does it seem too short without the leggings? Notice the little side zipper at the hem, I thought that was neat...what do you think

I really like it without the cardi, it's a perfect summer dress. Funny how I didn't even see the yellow accents in the first pic, those yellow peep toes pick up the yellow accents so nicely!
As for the second dress, great zipper detail, I do think it's a little short without leggings though, but love it with! Very nice dresses

Thank you, Isabella. I hate to go bare armed, so I will most likely wear either this cardi or a black blazer over. Hopefully, it will look ok .I need to do more arm exercises!

Both dress and tunic are very pretty, Carole!

The dress is a 9, and not 10 in my book. If it was a little longer, it would be a 10. But then, FWIW, I generally prefer longer dress hemlines on classic sheaths :). However, 9's are brilliant and you look gorgeous!

Angie-That helps to know that it's the length that is not making the A+ grade. It's always hard to find dresses long enough, and I really like this but don't want to add another dress to my wardrobe that's not a 10. I'm getting more particular in my old age, thanks to you.!

It's a beautiful dress, and you have nice legs! It's a shame that dresses don't come long and unhemmed (like men's dress pants). Then we could hem that at the perfect length.

I think the sheath dress is just a tad short. But I'm enjoying longer hemlines for myself and could be biased, Carole. It's not easy for us to find a dress that hits at the knee or just above, though. They are few and far between. The second dress with leggings is a nice look.

Both look nice on you but yes, a tad short. I love the fit of the sheath so if you can take it down a bit, then YAY! I know if I sat down in that length of dress, I would feel a little too exposed. You have great legs!

I'm glad you posted this, Carole. My initial impression was that it was a tad to short but the fit was lovely. I have hemline issues--I think because I used to wear such short skirts when I was younger. Now I feel positively matronly sometimes about hemlines and was hesitant to voice my opinion.

unhemmed dresses... BRILLIANT! gosh, what a simple idea so why hasn't anyone tried it?
I do really like that dress on you, but I agree that it needs to be a hair longer. so sad ;-(

It's several inches too short but otherwise a great dress on you. I like the second one as a tunic over leggings or leans.

Yes, I agree that a bit longer would be a bit better, but we were almost Talbot's print twins there. I picked up that print in a sleeveless PB blouse. I'm looking forward to pulling out my citron purse and wearing sleeveless things. . .(any time now, please!)
