New and Looking for a Wrap

Hello all! I am fairly new and am so glad to have found this forum. I feel like I've finally found a planet where everyone talks my language!

Trying to get the nerve to post a WIW. Attempted one today but still working lighting and the outfit topper was too disappointing to post. Funny how you think something looks good until you take a pic!

I am wondering if anyone has seen any cute casual Wrap dresses that aren't too pricey? I am a curvy hourglass. I have a very casual lifestyle at the moment and stick to dresses and skirts in the hot summer. Looking for something casual enough for MOTG.

Welcome Jeanie!

Have you tried looking at Banana Republic or Ann Taylor for wrap dresses? You can usually get them on sale and the quality is pretty good for the price.

Thanks Ana! I did try AT and they had a ton of stuff on sale but not many dresses left. Looking online looks like they have more. BR looks promising. Everything seems to be polyester. I hope I can pull that off without looking too bumpy.

BR is about release their Issa London collection on August 8. There are going to be quite a few wrap dresses available then. I think they are going to be rayon/cotton blends for the most part.

Land's End had some new dresses that are looking better--at least they are doing some good photoshoots to market them! though sometimes not in small enough sizes.

Ana - Previewed the Issa London collection - very pretty and love that it is in rayon.

Lauren - Old Navy always surprises me. Love that print on you!

Inge - I think the Karen Kane dresses would be perfect! I think Macys carries Karen Kane but I can't remember seeing any dresses. Excited to see these online.

unfrumped - I've been eyeing those Lands End wrap dresses too. Sometimes their stuff does photograph totally different than in person. I will check it out at Sears.

Looks like I have some shopping to do!
