Perhaps this is a dumb question, but I haven't a clue. I was thinking of ordering a leather jacket for my daughter from Muubaa in the UK. I already emailed them asking how much (general range okay) to expect to pay in duties, but I expect they're not going to be helpful. Has anyone in the US here paid duties on a leather jacket of approximately $205?(And also, now I'm wondering if the duties would be levied based on the original value/price, or on the sale price? It's sold at 50% off, so that would make a big difference.) Also, where would I be paying? My local US Post Office? Now I feel sorry for all you Canadians who are dealing with this frequently!
