Just got a new top from Banana Republic and would like some styling tips!
I forgot to take a pic of my new top sans other layers, so here is the stock photo from BR:

As you can see, the top has a zig-zag pattern to the fabric. Questions:
1) What do you think of mixing a (cream colored) zig-zag textured top with a (gray) pinstripe blazer?
2) Does this blazer paired with flat (okay, almost flat) shoes make me look incredibly stubby, or is the blazer cropped enough that I can pull it off? (I'm super short and normally don't wear flats, so I might just not be used to seeing myself at my real height...)
