I don't normally go for all neutral outfits unless they are all black or all white. An overall tonal look in cream and taupe/sand just isn't my thing...until I saw this outfit.

I think this outfit just screams of peaceful comfort. Each piece looks physically comfortable and then the ensemble as whole is such a peaceful and calming color palette with soothing fluid shapes.

I think I'm in love.

And no. I'm not being paid by EF as their new spokesperson - lol!

I can see you in this outfit ... and I'm glad you found a brand that you love so much!!! There was a time I could have bought the entire collection from one store because I loved it that much!

Actually, my cousin does do that - she goes into her favourite store and says, "I am a size 6. I'd like a piece of everything you have in stock from your spring collection. I will collect in two days."

She says she doesn't have time to shop, and she knows 90% of what she bought can mix and match, and the other 10% she donates. I volunteered to be her charity of choice for donations!!!!

Seriously, if my budget allowed, I'd be ordering an entire collection of EF petite each season. Cleo Petite used to be my store of choice but the quality is sometimes "meh" and the stuff doesn't excite me anymore.

The quality of EF is waaaaaaaaay better and her petite line just fits me perfectly.

Cleo still has really bad customer service every time I go in there. I know I'm not their "target demographic" but it won't kill you to ring through my purchase. And if I ask for a size 6 it's because I NEED A SIZE SIX and I don't need you to tell me WELL YOU LOOK MORE LIKE A TWO when I can't get the FOUR on. //Rant.

I think if you ordered a season's clothing from your retailer every season, it needs to be one of those places who only has a Fall collection and a Summer collection! Otherwise you'd end up with a ton of clothes.

Oh you are right Shannon, the booties are really nice. Love me some EF...as I sit here in my EF orange red linen cropped tee with matching tank! (I scored both pieces on ebay)

OMG Susie - is that the colorway she calls Firefly? I saw the boxy linen tee with the tank underneath. If that's the one I'm thinking of, how fab for you!

Well, as you know (ad nauseum) taupe is definitely "my thing" so this is also "my thing." GORGEOUS.

Sigh.

I need to get me to an EF store because I cannot determine the sizing for me. I think I need to go petite, and maybe can't go at all....

Yep that's the one! It is super boxy and hits right around the waistband of my jeans. I got the same color in a lightweight, silk jersey short sleeve top that has a chiffon bottom. Since they both needed a tank underneath, I figured it was worth getting the matching one.

Suz - sadly I suspect you would be sized out for EF. She definitely cuts on the generous side. For once in my life, my curves work in my favor!

If you have an EF thing and access to the Rack, as well as patience, you may well luck out. I have found a few EF pieces at steep sale discounts there, as well as the usual lower Rack prices. Can't remember if there is a Rack in Canada yet.
Lyn- can't ever imagine doing the whole collection of anything. I love hearing what works for people and how they take care of their clothing or fashion needs. I hope you benefit from her wide net.

There's such a richness to this outfit. Love the way the tones play off each other to create a depth of color.

I love this outfit, Shannon! Suz, I think most EF pants run short so you might not want Petite for them. I can wear PP (smallest petite size in the loose EF things and PSmall or reg. XS in fitted tees and some other knits.
Shannon, I've not seen those pants but may need to check make a trek to the EF store to check them out and stalk them for sales.

What gorgeous fabrication and silhouette! Now, I'm not sure how the color will do with your skin and hair --- I see you in a slightly cooler neutral -- but you'll never know until you try!

Beth Ann - I won't be trying it out because typically these colors totally wash me out. But it's interesting that I'm even attracted to it.
