ETA pics below... regardless of whether the outfit worked or not, it was perfect for the weather yesterday, as it hit 80!

- AT neon colorblock sheath -- it has a black panel on the back shown in blurry pic 2. Not shown, it also has beige color block on the shoulders.... those color blocks are not that big, thankfully, since I don't wear beige that well.
- ATL denim jacket
- silver necklace (forget which brand)
- MK snake skin purse -- does this work with the dress??
- New Me-Too wedge booties

I really wanted to wear the wedge booties! They are 3 inch high but comfortable to walk in because they have that wedge. I know they work well with skinnies, and will work well with dark tights. But do they work with bare legs? It was way too warm for tights. They hit higher on the ankle than my other booties but I thought they worked anyhow. Thoughts?

I am looking for other suggestions on how I might style this dress for Fall and possibly even winter... in the early Spring I wore it with black tights and black tall flat boots, with black cardigan, and white purse. In late Spring/Summer, I've worn it with the SW flats, with nude heels, with cork clutch, with black moto jacket, with light taupe boyfriend jacket, with gold instead of silver jewelry. When I did my fall planning exercise on the bed, I planned an outfit with leopard booties and a red purse. That was what I was going to wear yesterday, but I was itching to wear the black booties AND I had Suz in my head... whispering that maybe snakeskin with its blue-based tone was a better choice, so I went with that.

Any other styling ideas? I do love this dress; it is easy and comfortable to wear. I would like to get as much use out of it as possible before the neon trend fades!

Original post:

I was running late and did a last minute change when I realized its quite warm out today. I am wearing a neon color block sheath I bought in the spring but style for fall. However now I'm doubting my judgement! Pics later, but in meantime-- neon still okay to October??? The dress itself is substantial weight Ponte knit.
