Need Your Input - keep or return? (photo heavy)

Hi all. It's been a while since I last posted but I have been around trying to reply to posts as much as I can. I'm off this week for the Thanksgiving holiday and I had a chance to shop for some much wanted chunky sweaters. I bought quite a few although now that I took them home, they don't look as good as I thought. So, please help me decide to keep or return these items:

1-3: Zara chunky beige brown oversize sweater. It looked good at the store but now I'm not so sure about the color or the size. It's a medium but fits well.

4-6: I LOVE this Loft Ivory sweater and am planning to keep it. The shoes are new too. I got them for .01 cent at DSW.

7-9: Loft sweater. This one I'm not too sure about either. It's a rusty brown with black. It might look better with jeans and a contrasting white shirt underneath. What do you think?

10-12: Loft sweater. This white cottony long sweater is very flattering on the body although I tried it on with a belt and it didn't look so good. I like it but it is cotton.

13-14: New Loft top I'm keeping. Love the color and great for layering under sweaters.

15-16: Loft wine color cardigan. Looks so dark here so I'm not sure if I it looks good or not.

I love the sweater in 4-6 and the last cardigan - what a great color. I could go either way on the rest except the first sweater, which I think is drab on you compared to the beautiful ivory!

I really like 4-6.

Not a fan of 1-3, especially with the back slit.

Not really a fan of 10-12, but then I have a poison eye for waterfall sweaters.

Not sure your style, but 13-14 seem a bit outside of the rest of your selections.

The shoes are fantastic are they YSL? I love the ivory sweater but am unsure of the rest. I like waterfall cardigans but this one seems to swamp you a bit in the photos. I like the fit of the brown & black one & your thoughts on styling sound good.

I think 7/8 is a little boxy for you. It's not doing you justice.
I agree the ivory is loving you and you've already got one way to style it - this is a great outfit!
I'd like to see 1/2 with skinnier jeans, but not loving this one overall.
I'm still wearing waterfall cardis but only cheap ones, lol, because I think I see the end of this look in sight (for me at least). I like the striped sleeves but not sure about the lapel trim (because it never seems to be lying quite right) or the combo of trim and heather - I'd prefer a a solid colour-block effect.
It's tough to see much detail on the last one, sorry. I think it could be styled with lighter items for more contrast.
It seems like you bought multiples if you know what I mean - 2 or 3 chunky knits, 2 cardis. So I think you can afford to let the less-perfect items go.

I'm no help - I like everything except the last sweater which seems a bit blah compared to the rest of your great haul.

I love the ivory sweater and the black/brown one in pics 7-9. I'm not a big fan of the first sweater because of that slit in the back.

I kindof like everything except the first sweater. I actually like the back slit, but am not crazy about the color on you. I'm not sure about that last sweater either, it looks a bit boring, but I'm sure you could style it so it was "you". Yay for cheap shoes!

Not crazy about the sweater in 1-3. The cardi in 15-16 is ok, but nothing special (just a cardi).

Love the cream sweater in 4-6 and omg, those shoes are so fab (.o1 cent?? how'd you do that?) and look really nice with the sweater.

I also like 7-14.

Love love love 4-6, so you definitely are right on to keep that one. I also like the classic integrity of 15-16. I'm reserving judgment on 7-9 because I think you are right that this would look entirely different styled with jeans, and I'd love to see it that way. Not a fan of 1-3 (color is drab) and 10-12 (but that's just because I'm feeling done with that style, not anything wrong with the sweater or its fit on you). Lovely haul!

Alaskagirl - yep. keeping the ivory but not sure about the others just yet.

Caro - I wish they were YSL shoes but they are not. Got a great deal for them. I will return the waterfall cardi.

Thistle - I like the color of the last cardi but it came out dark in the photos so will return this item. Thanks.

Jules - Wasn't the whole point of chunky sweaters to be boxy? But I know what you mean since I'm questioning the boxiness of 7-9. I do like the colors though.

Tracina - I had a coupon for DSW. Shoes were on sale half prices, then with the coupons they came out to .01 cent including tax.

k can shop - okay so I'm keeping the ivory.

Sara L - and Jem - I liked the first sweater because of the slit in the back. I wish they had another color. OH well. I guess it's a return.

I would return 1, 10 and 15. Unless 1 is really comfy and soft and fills a casual hole in the wardrobe. Other two are just a little boring, but could maybe be styled differently.... I love the green blouse! Love!

Yes, when I saw your other looks with form-fitting clothes I could see that were going for a different look deliberately. I have to admit my eye hasn't adjusted to the look. I looked again and I do think that sweater looks good on you just not as good as the white one! I think I am liking lighter colours on top to contrast with your beautiful dark hair or with the fitted dark clothes you had great waist definition. I don't see any big draw with that outfit although it may have great subtle texture and colour in better light. Let's see it with the white shirt...

I vote for Ivory sweater 4-6 (I might have to try that one - I'm in search and had to return the BR one because it shedded a huge fur girdle on my pants)
I also vote for 7-9. Love the look you created (but it's not your typical look) and would love to see it other ways.

I like 1-3 but wish it were a different color. Love 4-6 -- a definite keep! I like 7-9 as well -- I like the color blocking. Not as crazy about the cardigans, but I'm really picky about cardis. (I'm currently on the lookout for one that is neutral in color, lightweight and drapey but long, but not bulky, and not a waterfall, and without banding at the bottom. How's that for specific!)

I like the color of your layering top -- I see that playing well with your wardrobe!

Jules - yes I'm trying to change up my look from my usual retro style to a more modern style although I'm sure I'll always fall back to that classic look.

Jjsloane - The ivory sweater is from Loft and somehow it works on my body even though it's quite roomy for an x-small (silly vanity sizing because I know I'm not an xs). I think it's just made that way. I'm still not sure about the 7-9 although I may have to try it with skinny jeans.

Janet - Im picky about cardis too so will return the first sweater, plus the 2 other cardis. I seem to be more into soft and big seaters for some reason. Oh, and thanks for noticing the hair. It's growing out nicely. I haven't even gotten a trim since I started out the growing process.
