I've spent the last two days going from optometrist to optometrist trying on glasses. 5 shops later, here is where I am. The things that I liked about all of these don't really show up here, so I will try to elaborate on each pair.
1- Lucky brand
The angle on the pic makes them look like they are not centered on my eye, but they are. Tortoise shell with an engraved design down the arm. These fit really well, but did not seem particularly special.
2- Dior
The arms of these are a burnished apricot color that made my skin glow, but I think they are just too big for me.

The arms of these are amazing- a luminescent animal print/shell design, but I think they are too big for me
5-Max Mara
the front is tortoise shell, and the inside of the arms has a reptile print
6- forgot the brand
the front piece is a bronze sort of metal that was very flattering on me, but not sure that I want metal
7- Candies
rhinestone design on side
8- Covergirl
not really fond of the shape
9- Kay Unger
cheetah print on the arm- very fun
10- Alt Air
11- Sigrid olsen
12 Vogue
I kind of love these. The arm is very thick, and has a swirly design in gold and silver, and the base color of tortoise shell is warmer than most of the others. But, these are also the frames that dd ordered- in purple. It might be strange for us to have the same glasses.
I'll be doing more shopping, but are any of these even contenders?
