When I first got to YLF, one of the items I posted was a stunning Missoni sweater jacket I scored on e-bay. It was and still is the most beautiful item in my closet, although the verdict was that it is too big for me and I have never actually had a chance to wear it.
Well, I'm consigning it tomorrow.
*sniffle* I literally shed a tear or two after trying it on one last time and confirming with my newly educated eyes that it is indeed too big. I know it's silly, but it really is just a work of art. My only consolation is that I will use the $ I get from it to buy a Missoni item that fits me somehow. And that hopefully someone will buy it and wear it so it can be seen (as long as I never have to run into them wearing it, in which case I'll probably burst out into the song "Crying")...
Anyone ever have a moment like this?
ETA: Here's a link to a couple of photos. Looking at the model is making me think it's not THAT big on me, just long.
