Ooo look at me rockin' the iPhone app!

Anywhoo...I'm also attempting to rock some suspenders tomorrow and I'm having shoe difficulties. These buckle ankle boots where the closest I came to making it look "right" in my eye but it also kind of feels like a lot of hardware in 1 outfit? I want to wear this for day and I'm thinking some kind of flat shoe because heels seem to veer it into a night look to me? Help?

Sorry for the awful lighting, hopefully you can see what's going on...the bag is bright blue and I have a bunch of crazy bracelets that are colorful neonish as well.

This isn't an urgent matter -- just frustrating. I have like 60 pairs of shoes lol...surely I shouldn't have this issue.

Haha i had to go and look up what oxblood colored was. No, nothing is but i like that color and it would look really good with the cream and black in the outfit!

Girl X - i was thinking about oxfords too but i only have brown ones and they weren't doing it for me.

annette - I tried a pair of strappy sandals but seeing a lot of toe didn't look right to me for this outfit look if that makes sense?

So i might just go with the buckled ankle boots then if no one thinks buckled shoes + suspenders + a handbag with front zippers is too much, too much. Otherwise the only other thing i could think of was some silver pointy toe quilted flats i have...

I think what you've chosen has a lot of verve and the elements in this outfit all work together. Really enjoy how the print/design of the top gives it life and vitality.

I think the fashion industry changes names of colours every now and then just to drive me nuts as I fret over it...

Probably too late here, but I like the booties a lot, and second the idea of some oxfords if you've got them. The suspenders are sort of punk, to my eyes, so the booties or oxfords idea complements that punk thing nicely, IMHO.

I love the suspenders (I can't help sniggering at that word, here in the UK suspenders hold up stockings! we call yours braces) they are super cool I keep eying them up but wondered whether I'd look a bit silly for the record they look fantastic on you. The shoes look great with the outfit x
