Need reasurance on this one(if that's the case)-New pic

Added picture with pins and another for comparation.(remember I pinnned it myself so it would look better if some professional would do it instead of me bending down)
In this last pic the color is more true to the one IRL.
Does it look better?Should I pay the money to have it altered?

After looking so many fab ladies sporting red skirts on this forum I got the urge to buy one.
After much trying skirts on I decided on this one.It needs the waist taken in a little bit and the color is a more tomato red than it looks.
What are your thoughts on this one? What score would you give it?

ETA: I know the photos are not great but could I wear this top and skirt together?

hmm, I"m thinking I'd rather see you in a skirt that hangs straighter down. But I LOVE the color combination.

To me it looks like there seems to be something a bit off with the fit...the way the flare starts after your hips. But it may just be the way you're holding the waist in?

Love the color and love it with your blue top!!

I see what you mean, especially in the pics where I'm holding it the fit seems strange.
Skirts are always dificult to fit for me and usually need alterations.One thing I have to say is that the fabric is great and perhaps worth of spending some money on it.
I'll try to find some pins to mark the alterations nad post pics(it may take some time because I actualy have to go and buy the pins :o) )

It does flare a lot, but it's very cute. I think an alteration would be worthwhile. I like the top with it too.

I think this might work better with a less stiff material - the fit around your waist and the color is lovely! It just seems to stand away from your body a little awkwardly. What if you did not tuck but wore a shorter shirt or blouse over it - would that tame a bit of the flare?

I really like it as a more slender skirt!

You appear to have the perfect figure for a nice pencil skirt...I don't think this one shows your shape off as much as it could. That being said, a skirt like this is cute with flats for a relaxed summer look, and I love the color combination!
