The dress creates a bit of volume on the hips, but you manage to minimize all that, the last outfit with the black cardi and the cage heel.. divine!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh thank you! I ordered because the color is fabulous and Angie wrote so glowingly about the dress. I love dresses but have always gone more for wraps or empire waists. I'm just not used to feeling or seeing a cinched waist--I was afraid of tummy bulge. That's why I felt unsure. Anyway, I'll keep it now. You all helped so much and I really, really appreciate the props!

I think the colors and styling of the dress are lovely. Very feminine. The black cardigan works well to my eye, but you might also try a black bolero, so as not to obscure your small waist.

I'm wondering if maybe you are slightly uncomfortable with the full skirted silhouette because you are (I think) a "pretty pear". You could try slightly higher heels and an interesting pendant necklace to take a bit of attention from the bottom of the skirt.

I think you look ladylike and lovely though.

I'm sorry, I just checked your profile and I see that you are not a pear at all. Maybe the tilted angle of the photographs threw me.

What a beautiful dress! Very pretty colors. I like the last look with the cardi and cage sandals. I think the cardi helps balance out the fullness of the bottom. But you look great without the cardi too
