Need help with reunion outfit

Here's the link to the first thread. The event is on Friday and I'm heading home on Wednesday. If I need to do some shopping to complete the look it has to be easy, because I only have Monday and Tuesday left.

There are a lot of pictures ahead, just to warn you. I didn't have much options because at the moment a lot of my stuff doesn't fit right, but here's what I've come up with.

Here's the outfit I created based on what I decided in the last thread. I really like this, but it might end up being too cold on the day - at the moment the forecast says 16°C and some rain. Of course that might still change, but I need to have my bag packed Wednesday morning.
#4-6
This is the best bag I have for the occasion and it goes with all the pieces in the outfit, but I don't like how it looks when I wear it. If I decide to go with this look I might do some handbag shopping the next few days. Probably a not too dressy middle sized shoulder bag.
#7-10
Sleeves of the jacket down, which might be necessary for the weather. I think this looks off with the nude hose, it might be better to go with the black hose after all.
#11-12
Dark hose and different jacket option.
#13-14
Different top under denim jackets.
#15-16
Most dressy and conventional option with black blazer.

What do you think? This is the only one of my skirts who fits good enough, an alternative would be wearing jeans, maybe the new ones of the other thread, if I decide to keep them.

I decided to take both the first and the last outfit with me so that I can make the decision depending on the weather and what my mum is going to wear. I'm also taking the new jeans from the other thread and I'm going to add the button down shirt in #17 to the bag, that would be the option when it gets really cold. (Thanks for the suggestion, Marmee!) But hopefully I can wear the skirt.

I'm really liking #14 with the blouse that nicely contrasts against the color of the green denim and the patterned hose just makes it feel a bit more dressy. Based on your description of the event it sounds like a mix of somewhat casual with just a bit of dressiness makes sense and I think that outfit represents that really well (and looks very flattering on you as well!)

Thanks! Yes, somewhat casual with a bit of dressiness sounds about right. That's why I thought a denim jacket would dress it down nicely, I think the look with the blazer might be too much for the occasion. The only thing I don't like about #14 is that I'm not as comfortable in that top taking the jacket off. Not sure if that even would be necessary when it's not very warm, but it clings way more then the new T-shirt.

I am not much help but I really like the first outfit but also the last outfit. How formal is the event?

I like the original outfit you chose with either nude or black hose. Both versions look interesting, flattering and comfortable . And I think the small black bag looks good too. ( unless you really, really want to buy another handbag?)

The important people are probably going to be dressed up, because there will be some (more or less important) guests holding speeches and so on, but a lot of the guests are going to be rather casually dressed, I guess. There wasn't anything specified. I have no idea what my mum's going to wear (she's an alumna too) but I think she won't dress up that much.

Thanks Missvee! I guess I could take both options with me and decide in the morning when I know more about how warm it is going to be whether I want to go with the nude or the black. I'm definitely comfortable in this outfit. I like the bag with it, but the crossbody strap is kind of fussy over the loose denim jacket and shirt. I would like a new bag, but I wouldn't buy one now unless I could see myself using it afterwards too.

I like both the first outfit and last outfit best. Will you want more than one outfit? I feel lots of empathy as I have a 50th highschool reunion coming up.

I love the green jacket for your coloring, and the striped top. Dark hose look good to me but nude leg may read better for young folks, or westher may dictate, so take both, they don't take up room.

I like the first and last outfit. The green jacket seems springier to me, but the black jacket and maroon shirt seem a little dressier, and perhaps more sophisticated. I think I lean toward the lighter hose, for seasonal reasons. And I like the handbag, but perhaps it's just to short to be worn cross body.

I personally perfer the 11,12 or 15, 16 perfect for somethin that may be out of doors. I also adore skirts with pockets enjoy.

Thanks Marmee! Good analysis. The last one does read more sophisticated, that's true. I could lengthen the strap of the bag, that is possible. I'm going to try different lengths to see if it makes a difference. As for the people, I'm not sure who will be there exactly but I haven't seen most of them for since graduation. I've only kept in contact with my three closest friends.

Thank you Angie! I've phoned my mum and asked her what she was going to wear and I have decided to take the bigger bag and just pack both the first and the last outfit. Then I can decide what I'm going to wear on the day and have some options.

My favorite is the last but the first is great too. I don't know if it's kosher, but when I find my cross-body is frustrating me crossing over my shirt I just wear it over one shoulder long - just in case you don't have time to find another bag.

Thanks Rabbit! I've been doing that too sometimes, wearing the crossbody bag over one shoulder. Thanks for the reminder. I think it's good to know I have an option that works for me with the stuff I already have, that way I'm not going to end up with a nre bag that's so so just because I think I need one for this occasion. I think it might end up being the last outfit, at least if the weather forecast is right.

I'm leaning towards the last outfit as I like to err on the side of just a little more dressy when I don't know what to expect. But #1 looks great too.

Thanks Texstyle! I'm the opposite, I hate being overdressed so I prefer to be more casual if possible. But I think the last outfit might work well for the occasion and I think it looks less dressy because both the skirt and the blazer aren't part of a suit.
