Need help with glasses

I hate asking for help when I am unable to give back much right now. I need new glasses and I don't feel like going to the optical shop right now. I order 5 try on pairs from Warby Parker. I think there may be a contender but I wanted the forum's opinion so my daughter is helping me post this. I have 5 more pair coming from Rivet and Sway Mon or Tues.

Photo 1& 2 are the Sloan Rum Cherry.

Photo 3 & 4 are the Sims Sassafras and are tonal brown colors.

Photo 5 & 6 are the Zagg Striped Chestnut.

Photo 7 & 8 are the Marshall Rum Cherry

Photo 9 & 10 are Linwood Violet Magnolia.

If none of these work and none of the next batch work I can go to the optical shop soon.

Debbie, I like #3 best out of these picks. I like the shape on your face and they reflect the coloring of your hair nicely. I think #1 hides your eyebrows too much and #7 are a bit too light in color.

I like 3 and 9. The tortoise color is great for you. Of those two, 9 has a bit of a horn rim vibe that I like but might be too geeky for some. 3 is more conventionally flattering, I think.

I like #5 best (I like that the lenses aren't so long up and down), but I do wonder if maybe the color is too dark for your coloring. Can you try them in a different color?

I like the colour of #3 and the shape of #5. I agree with Gigi that the colour could be a little too dark and am wondering if they are available in a colour more like that of #3.

Debbie I think some off these glasses look OK but i think you deserve to look great. I would keep looking. I have just been shopping for glasses too and your face shape seems to be similar to mine (regtangle). It was very difficult for me to get something that looked great. The red ones here are too bright red on you, consider a deeper red (bordeaux?) Glasses should never cover eyebrows. Some are too wide for the width of your face and some are a little too angular making you appear harsher than you may want. If you want to soften your face you need a little rounder edges. Number one: too big, too red. Number two: pulling the face slightly down making you appear older. number 3: too dark and a little too angular. Number 4: too wide. Number 5: difficult to see as you face is slightly tilted up but seems too wide and angular.
On last tip: regtangle faces are long but narrow and most glasses are too big widthwise. So when shopping look at the measurements of the width.

Without reading the other comments, I like the shape of 5 and 9 for you, but I would like to see a lighter or brighter color. With your lighter hair, I think a nice blue would look wonderful.

Hello Debbie, it's great to see you and I hope your recovery goes well. Please keep asking and don't worry about not being to give back much these days, I think you give so much when you do participate actively that you can easily sit back and be only the receiver.

About the frames - I agree with Johanna, I think you should keep looking. The ones you posted are nice and OK (for me #3 most of all) but something is missing. If it's any consolation, shopping for frames is not easy. But there are the right frames out there.

I like #3 best but let's compare with the next batch too! Btw you have very pretty eyes and your hair is always perfect
I would not worry one bit about contributing as you are not a demanding type at all! And picking out glasses is always a fun group activity that I find very instructive even as someone who doesn't wear them (but secretly wish I did!)

I absolutely love both 3 & 9… perhaps because the tortoise shell colors are so very flattering on you. But I also like the shapes of both. I also love the shape of #5, but the shade may be a tad dark for your coloring.

Debbie, I hope all is going well after your surgery. All of these look pretty good but none look like "the one". Of the frames pictured, I like the ones in photos 3/4 and 5/6 best. I can't wait to see what Angie says. Thank you for asking for help because the answer helps all of us learn.
