In less than two weeks I have a trip to San Francisco and a few weeks later to San Jose to see the Rolling Stones! All of this out-of-the-ordinary is against my routine and I find myself wanting to dig into my wardrobe for some fantastic outfits. Here are the events:
- My mother's 80th birthday party. At a Chinese restaurant. One that has table cloths. Anything goes in SF but I was thinking of wearing a black pencil skirt, white button down, pumps and my red sack clutch. Much like Suz's outfit for the Vertigo challenge.
- A more casual dinner at a Vietnamese seafood restaurant, where we will wrestle with crab.
- Some walking activities like Alcatraz
- My usual shopping the Union Square district
- A farewell brunch, knowing my mother she will want to take lots of pictures that day so I want something that will photograph well and not too trendy.
- Meeting with my eXH to exchange stuff (giving him back some books, he's giving me some artwork). Boyfriend is not coming for this, but Mom is for moral support.
- A few weeks later, the Rolling Stones concert where any thing goes! There will surely be folks even older than myself, I'm not afraid of being a bit foolish.
