Sorry - suddenly things got a bit crazy at work (I had to review five staff last week which took a lot of time and energy!) and we passed an audit - yay!!
Stylefan - I think so too!
Angie - I think so - keen on some sailor style ones for summer, and maybe some classic but modern (I hope) bootcuts for winter.
Slimcat - I think that bootcut are more available than they have been for a few years. For work I agree - mid-dark wash blue or maybe black.... I hope I can source some (and hope you can too!)
Thank you Carla - I think we are on the same page. I do like levis and they tend to fit me well.
Smittie - I have browsed Zara but never purchased. I am scared to buy online because of the sizing issue though. And if I can find a trouser jean that would work well for me. I like the sturdiness of denim and most of my male colleagues wear jeans everyday...so it fits in well.
Thanks Bijou - sadly we don't have Uniqlo here. I would consider cords (would definitely take me back to my 70s and 80s roots...)
Janet - I wish Paige was more available here as their bootcuts look good. But there will be others. They would work with blazers for work.
Brooklyn - I haven't tried the wedgie but have considered them. but I wonder if they will be too tight in my thighs. I will check Zara out, they only have one shop here to try in store and I won't get there. Their erratic sizing scares me though. Yes Country Road can be good - but the ones I liked in shape weren't in the colours I wanted. Yes I am down to two pairs with one pair for very casual use/loungewear which is not enough. I like to have 4-5 pairs.
Fashintern - I do find mid wash easier to match with clothes, but dark wash can be more dressy for work. There is a specific mid wash blue that I love but it can be hard to find:)
Thanks Suntiger - hope I can find a pair.
Thanks Sally - I used to always head to Just Jeans but my last experience there was a bust. But I can easily try again and Levis are a reliable quality brand.
Jenni - thanks, I will check out Just Jeans as they are a short hop from home. I haven't tried NJDJ but whatever fits well will appeal to me.
