Need CCV sizing help/advice, please

I am SO late to the ChaChaVente party! I immediately ordered the dresses, then life took over and they've been waiting patiently for me. . .

Two sizes. I know I'm leaning toward the larger size, but I ALWAYS lean toward the larger size (I like loose) and sometimes regret it later.

I need your expert eyes, please
1-3: smaller size
4-6: larger size

CCV Owners - does this stretch out? shrink? do anything else I should know about?

I *think* i prefer the smaller size because it's make you a tad bit curvier than the bigger size but they look pretty close to me. But if someone says it shrinks than maybe the bigger...

....that probably wasn't helpful at all lol. Sorry! I'm sure someone who actually owns the dress with chime in!

It is a hard choice, Sarah, they both look good. What kind of fabric is it? If it is a thin knit I would prefer a larger size as I don't like when thin knits are too body con. If it is a thicker fabric like heavy ponte a smaller size should work.

I prefer the smaller one! The larger looks too loose for this style IMO. It loses the shape and hangs a bit. The dress looks great on you!

Thin knit, Sveta. And the raw edges seem to curl under stress, as in across my hips/rear in the smaller size :-\

rae - with a little hanging loose, I feel safe I'm a bit worried that the small is too body con for teaching, but the looser would be okay.

Sorry, they've all been posted back. Only their tops fit me. The bottoms are all off on me, as are the dresses (made for small-busted gals!).

Yes, their dresses ARE made for small busted gals, but those gals better not have too much in the hips either! :-\

I much prefer the smaller size on you, Sara. It really showcases your great figure, where the larger one looks a little droopy to me.

I like the smaller size! The line in #4 is broken up by the panels being too loose on your body--the side is choppier. You look great in #1-3!

I think I have a slight preference for the smaller size but both look good. You look fantastic in this dress!

Smaller size is your size. 4-6 is too large. Look at the bottom hem. The smaller size doesn't bulge under the arms which it would do if it were too big. The larger size, however, does bulk at the waist where there is too much fabric.

The smaller is better. You can always pair it with a jacket if you feel too exposed. This looks fantastic on you!
