Existing black blazer. There’s no need to button the blazer. It looks nice and crisp with your blouses and pants.

I’m also curious as to which style of blazer works best with my body shape, because if this interview goes well there will be a second one.

Rachy - I’ve been more marketing in my career, though this is more administrative. It’s an office that requires more dressing up than most if I’m reading it correctly.

Bj1111 - I don’t think it’s too conservative, but I take your point. I’m in a pretty relaxed area for dressing in general. I’m trying to navigate between being dressy enough but not too banker like. I think the cut of the pieces is helping me get there.

I like the existing black blazer with the blouses in #3 and #5.

If you get another blazer, I like the white jacket open, as in #10 (I think it pulls too much around the button if closed). I also like the navy CK blazer.

Definitely the existing jacket -- the fit on the white ones is not right so you need time to consider (though I love the idea of a white jacket for you). I like both #1 and #3 -- #3 feels more dynamic due to the pattern. For a second interview it would be great to incorporate cobalt since it is so flattering to you.

I like pic 5 for an interview. The white jacket looks too small but could be worth trying in a size up or just wear open. With strong shoulders, I know I have to get my jackets taken in at the waist. YMMV.

I like 1 and 5 for an interview. I think an open jacket would be no problem unless you're interviewing for something like corporate law. This means you can probably stick to the jacket you already own, and not scramble to find a new one.

Becky - I agree the white blazer pulls too much. I am in love with the idea of a white blazer, but I definitely won’t get one that pulls like that. It irritates me that the sales lady told me it looked good even when I could see it didn’t fit right. The larger size was not available. I think the top in 5 is a layering piece that could work for different outfits.

Maybe the CK two button style is available in another color. It is hard to match navys and blacks.

Suz - totally agree. Heart eyes to cobalt, and I’ll keep an eye out for a dressier piece in that color.

Liz - I’m open to a larger size if it had been available. I definitely won’t pay for a blazer that was pretty pricy that can’t be buttoned on me properly. I think tailoring is something I should do more of.

Christina - I agree the dress code varies. This is not that formal, and I like the idea of looking and not settling for a second blazer. I’d prefer a blue (not navy) or light colored one so I don’t need it to match the bottoms.

Thanks. DH said he liked the colors of the top on me, and I felt comfortable, completely appropriate, and nice in this outfit. If I end up with more blazers, I was happy with style of Calvin Klein shell.
