Need a new denim jacket...or two.

My denim jacket is really old, but mostly it's too big. What denim jackets out there are great right now? I know many people like the Levi's denim trucker jacket, so that one is on my "to try" list.

modgrl just posted some great ones from Ann Taylor and H&M - I am partial to the H&M one and tempted to check it out even though I'm quite jacket rich at the moment.

The H+M one runs TINY, but it is nice and cheap. If there's an H+M near you, it is worth a shot. It is kind of a cropped style on an average height person. The trucker is a slightly longer style. It was way too long for me. The loft ones are sold out online. I had to get them to special order one for me at the store, they run pretty big. I ended up with a size 0, even though I am a 4P in everything else.

Thanks for the info on the trucker. I am average height, so I'll give the trucker a try. No close by H &M. I do really like that jacket on you modgrl! I'm not having good luck with AT and Loft sizing lately, everything seems too big or too small. I have one of their white denim jackets that I mistakenly pulled the tags on thinking it would be ok even though it was a little big. It's ridiculous looking now. So, yes, I very much agree that AT jackets run big.

I have been shopping around for a white denim jacket, and this Gap one was too big http://www.gap.com/browse/prod.....pid=834422 and couldn't be taken in, so it's going back.

(I know, I know -- the Girls' department is not where I should be shopping, but the Gap jacket in a women's XS was too roomy. I will post about the suitability of these girls' styles for a grownup when they arrive.)

Update: the kids' white denim jackets just arrived, and they are hilarious. The sleeves come just below my elbow.

Back to the drawing board...

April, I got the adult's ON white jacket. I had to get the medium although I am normally a 4P in ON/Gap/AT. The arms were ridiculously tight.
