Navy or Burgundy booties? Votes needed

Nay = Burgundy

Without any other qualifiers (let's consider them both neutrals that will play equally well with the wardrobe) if you could only choose between these two colors for a pair of heeled booties, which would you get?

I'd go for the burgundy to make more of a statement. Navy seems too much like black in footwear.

These are great! Love the burgundy, but I would go with the navy myself. It's one of my neutrals and I feel like I never see fab navy shoes out there.

Astrid, I have been really torn and both of these have been in my cart for months on Amazon. I've watched them go up and down in price, fluctuating as much as $100. I finally decided to bite because I had points I could use and an ebate incentive, so I got them for a song, about 80% off. Hopefully if I like the burgundy and the "midnight nappa" is still around I will duplicate.

I agree that spiffy navy or ink blue shoes are hard to find, and I don't currently have a pair.

Burgundy. It really does go with a lot. I have a harder time matching navy for some reason, although cool navy footwear is rare!

Burgundy, because burgundy boots are the best thing ever, and they go with everything.

That said, I actually quite like the navy in this particular boot. It's really rich and gorgeous, and won't be mistaken for black like many other navy shoes.

Tough choice.

I would initially go with burgundy as it is such a nice colour but from past experience I would get the navy as they are impossible to find, especially when the colour is out of fashion.

My wardrobe, mind you years ago, was all navy with no black. I had to switch to black as navy just wasn't available. I don't think this is the same now adays when colours are more often found in footwear but it's that once bitten rule...

For me, it would be burgundy by a mile. I love navy blue, but find navy shoes very hard to style. Burgundy, on the other hand, goes so well with dark denim and a neutral top, which is a combination I wear all the time. I don't love the look of navy blue shoes with jeans.
