I was literally pouting over the idea of spending money on a pair of brown hiking boots that I wouldn't have much use for in my real life as a girl who lives at the beach!
When thrifting with a friend I heard my angel voice tell me to check out shoes. Now understand we were at a Salvation Army where I never look at shoes because they price them high, while Goodwill prices them all for $5.00. After years of this voice, I now follow... I looked through the racks very half heartedly while the voice urged me to keep going. I got to the end of the rows of shoes feeling silly when I was directed to the top of the clothing rack that housed overflow shoes and lo and behold a pair of Navy and tan brand new hiking boots in a half size larger than I wear!
When I got home I was so tickled to have found these gems from an Alaskan Outdoor Company called Noatak for just $12.99, that I put them on and didn't take them off until I climbed into bed. My youngest couldn't believe that they look brand new like they've never been worn, but I am not surprised as I see so many new shoes thrifting.
I picked up some other shoes recently as well , you can see them here
