National Park capsule. - YouLookFab Forum

Hi. I am leaving on Tue for the Abruzzo National Park. Temps will be 11-25°C, no rain.
We want to do some walks and sightseeing, buy no hikes since little girl is too young. We are meeting a friend and her family in l'Aquila one afternoon and maybe we'll stop in the city for dinner too.
Here are the pieces I am taking with me:
4 pairs of pants, two cropped, two long flares;
4 tees;
1 shirt - I am planning to wear it over a tee too, if needed;
1 cardigan
1 heavier piece of outerwear.
Not pictured: 1 birks, 1 sparkly sneakers, 1 running shoes.
Camisoles, socks and underwear, of course.

Do you think I am missing something? Last times I went to a Park it was for serious hiking...
I am planning on wearing the black jeans, sparkly sneakers and one of the shirts to meet my friend.

Great looking capsule! I would possibly add a lighter jacket, such as denim jacket, and a pullover sweater, so that you have more layering options. Enjoy your vacation!

First -- I want to say that I love your graphic tee collection. Fun! As far as numbers of items go -- I would throw in a few more tops if I were you, especially if you will be doing active things where you will sweat. My usual ratio when I travel is 2-3 tops for each bottom -- unless I have access to laundry facilities.

If you don't have access to laundry, I'd probably swap the light pants for something darker. I wear white all the time, but for some reason on trips I never seem to get more than a single wear out of anything white or very light colored. I think it is because any outing with my kids means a lot more exposure to dirt than a normal day. They always seem to plant a shoe on my white jeans. Sigh.

I have laundry in the apartment, but will add a couple of black shirts anyway, thank you for the suggestion.
I'll also bring a sweather - an old forrest green one.
As for the white jeans, I am planning on using them for travelling only, since I'll just sit in the car and the chance to get them dirty is low.

I think it's a good idea to add one or two more tops, but otherwise I think you have a nice capsule here. Do you want an easy dress (like a t-shirt dress?) for a change, for dinner in the city? Even one you can wear with sneakers? Or is that too much trouble?

Thanks Viva - I am afraid I'd be cold with a dress in the evening! Besides we are going to have dinner at a pretty casual place: we'll have three kids between the two of us!

Looks like a great capsule! And I too love your graphic tees. good idea to have a couple of extra tops. I always pack a couple extra in case I drop food on one!
