Did anyone try or buy this dress? I'm wondering how versatile it is. Can I wear it over skinnies as a tunic, in addition to as a dress with bare legs/tights?

I have not seen but it seems your style as well as Lisa's and the ways you mentioned wearing them sound fab to me. I would say give it a try.

I thought about that one too. Then I decided that I am just too far from the model's tall, slim frame but you would rock it! My other hesitation I had was the sheer sleeves. They seemed to make it just a bit seasonally confused to wear with tights or leggings.

I tried this on and LOVED it. Just like Angie said in her comments, it has amazing drape and somehow just enough structure. For me, though, because I always run cold, this would probably be a warmer weather dress and would be put away once the temps started to drop. Angie thought a jacket would ruin the lines of the dress, so I passed. I could see it with tights and boots/booties, but I'm not so sure about wearing it over skinnies.

Susie: good point about seasonal confusion. I'll have to try it and see. The color makes me think it might still feel okay in colder weather.

Christy, I really appreciate your input. I would definitely need to feel comfortable wearing a leather jacket over it -- because sometimes I run cold too -- and while I hear what Angie says about ruining the line of the dress, I may not be a purist about "line." I think I'm going to give it a go and see what I think.

(Thanks for chiming in, Christie. You looked AMAZING in the dress).

I LOVE this dress. One of my faves at the NAS. Yes. Am a purist about outfit lines - but understand the need to stay warm too (probably better than anyone else).

I think a low contrast short jacket could work. Or a longer - any colour - jacket/coat. A high contrast jacket would work well if it was left open and fluid. And the right footwear is the finishing touch.

Viv, this is an excellent style for you. Please try it.
