I bought a few more items and returned one. The Rails sleeveless satin top didn't fit or flatter and went back. The color was much more brown in person than in the photo.
I went back and looked at the Z&V blue top Janet and many others bought. Although the color is beautiful, I didn't love the pattern for me.
Still looking for something to wear to the reunion dinner, I ordered the Z&V leopard print blouse. I like it a lot, but it didn't seem quite right for the dinner, but I kept it. I'll be off to Chicago and other destinations in a few weeks and I think this will be ideal. It's full in the back and I'm thinking of taking it in to see if an elastic gather could be put across the back. But it may be ideal for a muggy Chicago dinner.
I bought the gold Vionics as well. I wore the Munro shoes I bought not on sale. They were okay. I still need to find a comfortable pair of dressy shoes.
I like the fit of the NYDJ black pants so much that I bought them in navy as well. They are long on me, and I hemmed them myself because I didn't have time to take them in. They are nice and fit well. I did wear the black ones to the reunion dinner.
And the dinner? I ended up wearing a similar blue color N+Z tunic top with the pants with my Marco Bicego necklace and earrings from Nordstrom about 10 years ago. There were 8 present, plus spouses, from the class of '70, and more from the class of '71 and '72. It was at the California Club--we all sat grouped by class at the long, long, dining table.
We didn't take many photos, but there will be a professional photo of the two of us available. Mr. Maven wore his Armani jacket and I must say, he was the best looking guy there. I'll post it later.
Footwear not NAS but gold on sale.
