In my post comparing puffers, every single person who commented preferred the Laundry puffer to the North Face one. I just didn't like the zipper around the front of the hood of the Laundry coat, and it was too shiny for me. Also, I had cinched up the waist of the North Face coat, making it hang in a funny way. When I uncinched the waist, I thought it looked pretty good, actually.

The oxfords were a disappointment, but I ended up finding a beautiful pair of silver oxfords on Zappos (Summit White Mountain Dawson) that I can't wait to wear.

I've worn the Adidas several times already. I like the casual look, not to mention the comfort. And they look a lot better than my Salomon hiking shoes.

Thanks to Angie for her guidance (and finds) and everyone for your thoughtful comments. I think I'm shopped out for awhile. My credit card came close to being mortally injured by my purchases.
