Went back there to return some of my previous purchases, and picked up a few things. The Soia and Kyo jacket went back, AND the Halogen leather jacket, which I decided bugged me in some way in terms of the cut. The Frey Amber Sun sweater went back. Ironically I'm still holding on to the blue cashmere hi-lo sweater.

I picked up a berry-colored Galogen pencil skirt I don't technically need (but it will be my only current pencil, and I want to wear

Ore skirts). Also some more utilitarian tops as well as some pants Angie had said look good on everyone. I will have to post them later. In the meantime, one beautiful NAS jacket, too small on me and too expensive, but it's the only Chanel-style jacket I've ever looked remotely good in. Also bonus pic of non-NAS gorgeous Lafayette 148 jacket, also too pricey for now. (Hard to see in pic, but it's cut beautifully.)

Stock was definitely lower, and saleslady wasn't sure if and when would be replenished.

Oh, boo! I loved the Halogen leather jacket on you. I am tempted to say you've been very naughty to let it go, but you know your needs best.

Oh I don't know, rae. It somehow didn't seem that flattering in the end. Would love to hear opinions. I mean, a 10. I'm never going to have 20 leather jackets. They will really have to pull their style weight.

Yes I do have PPP but often to my own detriment.

Love the Chanel-esque jacket. The cut is less boxy than most. I also grieve the return of the Halogen leather, but I look forward to seeing your new pencil skirt!

I think the first jacket is also a Lafayette. That brand has some great stuff.

Maybe I should reorder the Halogen jacket online in a petite. I would have liked it slightly more cropped. Maybe Angie will chime in (and spank me?)

Just chiming in to say that I was also a huge fan of the Halogen jacket on you, Nancy. Fantastic colour and super flattering fit. Plus pretty timeless, so very versatile in my opinion. What exactly is it about the cut that you're not sure about?
Also: yes, definitely give the petite a try, you never know.

OK Mochi - if Angie doesn't spank you, I am! You let that Halogen jacket go????? It looked incredible on you! - but I know if you weren't feeling it then that's going to over-ride any of our feedback (as it should!) But just want you to know that I loved it on you - and because of how it looked on you, I've got it sitting in my shopping cart right now - haven't hit the 'buy now' button yet because I'm not sure about the correct size for me.

Also - may I just say, you are looking beautiful these days. Your hair is perfect for you - and you just look like something has shifted in your attitude regarding dressing your body - and it shows! Makes me smile whenever I see a picture of you.

I am sorry about the elather jacket, but you do know best, no matter what others say If it felt wrong or uncomfortable, you won;t wear it, no matter how beautiful, and it will be a closet orphan.

I have admired Lafayette from afar. Even on sale, it is out of my price range

That lafayette 148 jacket (http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/la.....dictiveSea) is really like a Bentley, expensive and gorgeous. Luckily I am all set for jackets... not even tempted... well only slightly!
