Hi all, I am back from vacation and I have some NAS items trickling in. I will also include a roundup of the items I ordered before, and a list of what's on its way.
Keepers ordered before:
Pikolinos cream Vicar Booties - LOVE. Will keep but won't be worn for a while in this climate.
Caslon green striped hoodie - already worn on my trip
Herschel sling bag - also used when hiking on my trip
Ordered before and going back:
Treasure & Bond plaid jacket - doesn't fit my belly and hips perfectly. I considered sizing up and then altering, but by the time it popped back I didn't pull the trigger, so I must not be sold on it.
New Keepers:
OluKai flip flops - supportive shoes are a must for me. These may go to Greece with me next month (yeah, I know, covid. Not scared of a breakthrough infection but I am scared of getting stuck there so not sure about it now.) Didn't take a pic.
Houndstooth "Janet" vest - sorry for the completely unstyled pic. I am still unpacking and don't have the wherewithal to style looks yet. That said, I like this very much. Brings me back in time a bit... it's long on me but I don't mind a slouchier look. Things are too chaotic for me to have put it away yet... so my cat snuck into my closet and fell asleep on this. I guess I'm definitely keeping it. (I was careful to put the non-keepers away from cat butts.)
Halogen cardigan - nice annual staple item from this sale, but I'd never gotten one before. I need more cardigans since I've moved. No pic until my cat moves off my pile of new clothes. ETA - cat moved; photo added.
I also got the hydrocotton bath towels!
Undecided:
Halogen coat - I like this coat and the way it's styled in the pic, but I suspect it does overwhelm me. The picture I took is completely un-styled and a terrible angle. Again, apologies. I think I'd prefer slightly shorter sleeves and for the coat to hit where it does in the stock photo. The coat feels nice, but since I know Halogen can be hit-or-miss on quality, I am not sure if it's worth altering. ETA - will be sure to try it styled and with better pics before I decide.
Yet to arrive:
Sofft slides, Wit & Wisdom jeans, Zella and Sweaty Betty tops, and Zella jacket (the reviews didn't show for some reason when I ordered, so I didn't size up. Likely going back. I may try to get something from Athleta instead).
The gear orders are because I am looking for items I can wear in Greece that will look decent but be light and quick drying. I plan to pack very, very light....
