NAS so far--Minkoff bag, Caslon peplum, Paul Green booties

So I have what I think are winners, but welcome input.

First, the Paul Green suede booties Angie recommends. They are perfect for my 7.5N feet in the 7.5 size, so likely too narrow for those with wider feet. They are as comfortable as last year's Paul Green taupe booties that Angie recommended.

Next the Caslon peplum--I'm between a S and an M in this one, so went with M so I wouldn't have to fuss with a slightly gapping button at the bust, and worry about length. Hoping I'm avoiding maternity look with this one? I usually wear a size 6 blouse, am long waisted and slender with a bigger bust.

Last, the Rebecca Minkoff bag in putty/gunmetal. Love the wide adjustable guitar strap, less sure about the tassel. What do you guys think, tassel on, or remove it? The bag is just the right size for phone, sunglasses, wallet and a few extras.

Wow - three great pieces! I think your peplum top looks great in this size - I have a bit of a thing against peplum tops that are too short. And nice bag - most definitely leave the tassel on! Did you buy a plain strap for it too?

Gorgeous haul! That very same bag is in my cart. I love this with your darker outfit. The guitar strap is fab and love the tassel! The top is perfect on you. I never realized that PG ran narrow--that is probably why I could never break in my PG wedge sneakers. Keep it all!

Sometimes the bag comes with the plain strap and the guitar strap is an add-on . I was just thinking there must be plain straps available - but what do I know ?

I think the peplum top looks good. Not maternity.
I would most definitely leave the tassel on!
I love those boots and am seriously, seriously, tempted. Thank you for the info on sizing. I think I'd have to go up a half size.

Tassel on. Bag should come with a regular plain strap too.

You'd be surprised how many NON-narrow feet fit into those booties, actually. They simply go up half a size. I go down half a size. Paul Green makes MAGICAL shoes.

I keep on thinking about the olive RM bag....

Thanks, all! I will take the tassel advice, I know I'm prone to removing extra adornments but sometimes miss them once I've done it:)

And thanks for the peplum advice, I was thinking about getting the blue as well. Love the stripes and the fabric is lightweight and comfortable.

Angie, no plain strap was included...guess I'll go check the box again, but all I saw was the guitar strap. Which I really like, and think the colors are versatile, but having the plain too would be great.

Loved the olive color, but preferred the gunmetal accents for me! I know you wear gold.

We are peplum twins! For whatever reason, the navy one was a tad smaller on me, but probably if I had tried on more of each color the size discrepancy would have evened out. I was tempted to buy both, too.

DonnaF, I like how it fits you in the picture, looks like you don't have the dreaded long waist so no need to size up:). I found the blue one ran bigger, isn't that funny! I tried on a few, and it seemed a bit wider than the burgundy. But the blue was definitely my favorite color.

"Putty" is one of my favorite RM colors. I have a different cross-body in that color--it goes with everything.

I vote keep the tassel. I think it adds interest to the bag.

I love your choices. The bag seems quite versatile. I remove logo tags but I like the tassel. I think the tops is lovely on you and the boots sound perfect.

And I adore the bag.

I'm a Rebecca Minkoff bag fan after my first Minkoff purchase last year. I fell in love with the hobo I got at the NAS and then bought a different hobo in the spring. I'm now tempted by your little bag. Re the tassle -- my Isabel bag has TWO of those and I thought I would loathe them since I am very anti-embellishment. Well, it turns out I really like them. They are not flashy like hardware would be. And I love to touch them. The textural interest is just enough for my generally simple outfits. Once in a while, if an outfit feels too maximal with the tassels, I just pop them inside the bag. Simple solution! Not sure it would work with this little bag, but maybe worth a try?

Suz, I've not purchased Rebecca Minkoff bags before, and this one is very nice. I like your idea of popping the tassels in the bag! Won't work for this little bag, as it's on the end and doesn't seem to be easily detachable. If I took it off, I believe it'd have to stay off.

All the votes for keeping the tassel have convinced me! I don't think I'll ever be maximal, but I can handle a tassel!

I think the blouse looks just right on you. Really nice color too, especially combined with your other picks. The only thing I don't appreciate is that after seeing you model the RM bag, I want it too. I wasn't tempted by the stock photos, but the RL photo set my heart aflutter. I am glad you are keeping the tassel.

Add me to the list of those considering the RM bag. I've been seriously eying the black but the putty looks so good on you. Does the putty skew more off-white or more gray?

I know what you mean about tassels....I'm a minimalist as well. I generally leave them on because they add a bit of interest. I removed them on a larger Coach bag I have because they were making the darn thing even heavier.

Marilyn, definitely skews more gray than off white, which I think makes it better (for me anyway) in the fall. I know what you mean about the weight of a bag, I've been going smaller in bags. This one is small but roomy, an ideal combo:)
