NAS sizing opinions k/r - YouLookFab Forum

Hi everyone!
I think I haven't posted since last year's sale, but I value your opinions greatly!! Enjoying everyone's sale!
Here are the items I love:
1. Paul green booties. I chose black. Great fit. Great low heel.
2. Window pane halogen cashmere. Super soft, nice drape, loved my halogen sweaters from last year....
3. K/R? Halogen striped blouse.. seems large in waist. Sleeves are long and shoulders fit. I am 5'9" and broad shouldered. I think a size down might be too tight in shoulders. But this seems to fit like a tunic instead of a house.
4. North face puffer. Mine didn't come with a waist cinching area which was in the description. Same issue as blouse...sleeves nice and long but I wonder if it's too large in body.
5. Sarto loafers. Not the softest leather, but fun and fill a hole for work.

Any opinions appreciated!!
I'm thinking return blouse and puffer. Also have Dres on order:)

Love the windowpane - it looks great!

I like the blouse on you - just reads slightly oversized. But you'll have to figure out if you'll actually wear it.

I would like to see you with a puffer that shows your waist more. So the description said it should be there? I would think it would be on the inside. Bummer.

Love the halogen sweater, jeans and PG booties.

I also love the halogen shirt and I think it's supposed to be a little oversized, as knittingGene says. (You look GREAT in it! You have the exact right body type and "look" for it!)

But it looks like you do have some room in the shoulders to work with, so you could try a size down.

The puffer looks too big, to me. I think it's supposed to form to your body a bit more.

I'm surprised the TNF puffer didn't have cinching cords on the inside. I have two of them, one looks identical to yours and the other is pink, and they both have interior waist cords.

I'm the outlayer in that the shirt looks a bit big, especially worn out, but the puffer looks ok to me...a slim silhouette and room to layer under it. Everything else looks great.

I like everything on you, including the shirt you want to return, I think the fit and style is really good actually, but if you don't feel good in it of course you should wait for something better.
I don't love the jacket and I don't think waist cinching would solve it for me. The length is good but something is off about the fit, as though it was cut for someone shorter, the chest of the jacket seems high on you and it kind of flattens you out.

Thanks for the insight. I think I like the blouse as is, it can be worn a few ways all of which are different than I had in mind when purchasing. I will keep searching for a more fitted crisp tailored white blouse. I might try to stalk this one in a small, but they've been sold out for a while.
I agree with the puffer not being flattering, I am small in the bust and was hoping the cinching would give it shape. Returning.
Yes, the window pane is maybe my favorite purchase:)
I really appreciate your help. I think just taking pics helps to make a more objective decision. I tend to overthink these purchases and am swayed by sale goggles too!
